I am so proud, I did my April ones.. IN April!!!
I wanted to get them done before I leave for my In laws for Easter because when I get back I have a swap due and I am trying to get together about 50 Mother's Day cards for DH's unit.
I have been setting myself a mini challenge within the challenge:
One, I am using all WRAK images( until I run out)
Two: I am first going to the scraps pile.. DP and solid CS. Today I used up like 8 pieces of scrap DP. It was awesome.
Location: the beautiful Mat-Su Valley in Southcentral Alaska

These are the cards I made for April. I've been combining challenges here and there, and these 2 cards were orginally made for 2 blog challenges. I liked them so much I made more of them to use for the CCC-09 challenge.
I missed my March cards and was thrilled to get April's done. I did 10 cards just like these four. I did a few with different dp than what I have here. I did not have time to scan them all. I am leaving early in the morning on a flight to Calif. to see my DD. I can't wait.

Here are my CCC09 April cards; I made 24 of them. I am so glad to be done early this month! The last two months I have posted on the last day of the month.
Below are the links to my April cards. I have been ahead of the challenge so far, but am feeling the momentum starting to slow. I know I can, I know I can, I know I can.
I am doing a "happy dance"! My cards for April are done and there is still nine days left in the month!! WooooHooooo! My cards(there are five of them!!)

Did these a couple weeks ago but haven't gotten the scanner out. I am so disappointed with how it scanned. The card looks so simple and elegant IRL with glittery white paper. Even my husband commented!
There are 10 all the same. They are based on Late Blossom's Peace and Snowflakes
I just completed my six Christmas cards for April. I used two different layouts, and my pictures do not do them justice. Again thanks for this challenge to push me ahead with my card making.
Here are my April Christmas cards. I actually made these while at my beach house in Myrtle Beach, SC. My neice and nephew were visiting and so we played Christmas music on the computer while we stamped. Drove my husband crazy.
Just posted my April Christmas cards and tags...can't believe I haven't missed a month yet. Hope I can keep it up...I will be so glad when December comes around and I have my cards finished.
I finished my April cards! Actually, I completed the central images back in February or March, they took a little while, but didn't finish incorporating them into cards until today.
Each of the cards is different but close ups of my two favorites are:
Some have double mats, some have single mats, some have ticket cornered edges, some have brads, some have big chunky snowflakes, others have fine glittered snowflakes... I am very indecisive, which do YOU prefer?
HERE is the group photo of all ten cards to prove that I finished them.
Please note - I had two left over center images, so I will probably be using them for another month's cards - don't want you to think I am cheating if you see them again, okay?
Thanks again for hosting this challenge Mary - I can't believe I already have FORTY holiday cards completed! Such a happy relief!
Loving the challenge! Gets me to make something each month, even in a busy month like this one has been. Next month is going to be even busier, so I'm off to get out supplies for making Christmas cards for May!
