You ladies make me feel so good even though I'm quite the slacker, not having internet at home makes it rough to stay caught up.
I can't post to galleries form my phone but I can see them, not easily, so I gave up.
So since i do not own a single Christmas stamp...I was cruising around Pinterest looking at cards i could do and they look Christmassy... I got this! LOL This year I don't thing i'll be asking anyone for images (maybe) LOL
Hi, I've never done a month by month Christmas card challenge before and would love to try if U'll have me
So glad that it doesn't start until January and that it can be posted at anytime, no sets dates....
I am committing to create 5 cards a month (but hoping to do 10!)
Great idea w/out the last minute stress!! Thanks!
Welcome to the group, Sama! Though I fell off the wagon at the beginning of the year, I do know from past experience this does work if you work the program. hehe And someone is usually on hand if you have a question. Merry Christmas!

I fell off the face of the earth for this challenge in 2014. Just finishing up my cards today. Ugh. I was already behind, and bunion surgery in September was the final nail in the coffin. I had to scramble to make 60 cards in the past couple of weeks, because I only had 60 made. This reminded me why I joined the Christmas Card Challenge to begin with. I would so much rather spend the first few weeks in December decorating, shopping, and making food gifts.
So, I'm going to do it again in 2015. 11 cards each month. This year's theme is going to be "quirky". I have some unusual images (sheep, lady in santa hat, etc.) that I'd like to use. And I'm soooo tired of trees.

No blog for me. My gallery chronicles my card-making successes and mishaps.
I loved this challenge in the past, it helped me stay focused on the challenge and the best thing was that I had Christmas cards already made and didn't need to worry about having them. This year I am scrambling. So I am committing to 6 cards per month!

awwww...thank you so much for your encouraging words.Nice to 'meet' you.
♥ You are sooooo sweet!! ♥ Btw, my name is Paola. ;)
I would like to join the challenge for 2015. Last year I thought I was more into jewelry than paper crafts but have now shifted back to paper! Had a super busy December trying to get all my cards made within a few weeks. I'll commit to making 4 cards per month for a total of 48 cards! Thank you for having this challenge!
Hi there! I missed doing this challenge the last couple of years and would really like to try it again for 2015. This has helped me so much in the past! I would like to commit to 5-10 cards per month please Vikki Jo! Thanks!
I'm going to give it a shot again.....yes, I fizzled out this past year! Lucky for me I still had a good stash from previous years doing this challenge. But, those are gone now.....went out this week!
So, Vikki Jo....I would love to join again!! Put me down for 4-6 each month.....depends on my design!!!
Thanks so much for keeping this going!!

Fledgling paper crafter here looking for some structure to help me use these great new products I've acquired.
I am currently recovering from surgery, but should be actively creating again by end of January. Given there isn't a strict month to month commitment, I will shoot for 5 cards per month.
This year I sold jewelry and papercrafts at my corporate bazaar, then I needed to make more for my own use.
I fell off the card-making wagon in 2014 and of course found myself making all my cards in November and December. I still have a few to make for this year! But I WOULD like to sign up again for 2015 - let's say 10 cards per month since I DO typically need about 100 cards each year. Hoping to do better with staying on track in 2015!

Oh oh oh new to the site!!! Can I corrupt youllll. Lol
Awaiting a surgery date for spinal fusion
I have 190 names on my Christmas list (down from 220). For 2011, 2012, 2013, I was making great strides with my quota. This year (2014) I've made 25 holiday cards total. I've sent out five. Hopefully no one will notice that we're not sending out this year.
Put me down for 10 per month for 2015, Vikki please. I love this challenge and with each month's theme and the weekly challenges I'll have lots of inspiration.
Thank you for keeping this going! I need structure!
I am setting a goal of five cards a month. More importantly, I MUST complete each card, with the interior sentiment and the back personalized stamp. Yesterday as I addressed envelopes, I kept coming across cards that had no sentiment. And many had nothing stamped on the back. Grrrrrr
I totally blew it this year on my goals. What with putting my mom being put in an assisted living place, my dad having open heart surgery, and me being sick half the year, I just have not done what I should have. I am going to commit to getting 6 cards done each month for 2015.
Third time's a charm - right? OK, maybe this will be the year when I really do make my Christmas cards each month, instead of a bunch in January and a few in December! I'll try for 5.....
I did this challenge several years ago....then took a break from stamping while I was getting used to a new job with a very long (2 1/2 hours each way) commute.
Vikki Jo please sign me up for 8 per month - I already have the design and tools for the cards in the house - there will be 3 designs - most of the cards will be 1 design - just different colors!

You are going to love this Paola! Definitely less stress!
Vikkijo, please put me down for 6 a month. I got 40 done by summer and then July through August got busy for me and I got behind. But still, I only had to make 15 in November/December and that wasn't too bad.
Please sign me up for 8 cards a month in 2015. I hope to be able to keep up with uploading, editing and posting this year.
I thought I wouldn't need as many in 2014, but after attempting to trim my list and adding a few names, it ended up being about the same length.
2014 was a pretty disastrous year for me card-wise. With surgery, recovery and cardiac rehab taking up half the year, everything else fell to the wayside. I did make quite a few cards in November however and using a few left over from last year, I was able to send out 71 cards. I made 8 different sets, including some with the my Silhouette Portrait machine that I got for my birthday in July. (I'm finally learning how to use it!)
Merry Christmas to all of you and thanks for the inspiration I can always find on SCS.
Believe me it really helps and no stress if you don't do your quota, you can catch up later or not but every card you make during the year is one less to make in December,
I was SO afraid that I was going to have to use boxed cards this year, but I did some last minute scrambling and got enough made. I laughed at your "B list" people. I've trimmed my list so short that there are not very many "B list" people left. Every one else is essential!!!

Val, so lovely to hear from you, I realised you'd been missing but didn't know why, hope you are making a good recovery, you did well to send out so many cards after the year you've had.
Hope you have a lovely Christmas and a healthy new year
Wow! How wonderful that you were able to raise that much money by auctioning your cards. Good for you!

I am signing up for 10 a month in 2015.
I just ordered a pile of Christmas sentiments from the SU End of Year Clearance this morning and will start my new stash when they arrive!
New here, but joined in solidarity with all of you who need to avoid the stress of making handmade cards in double digit quantities in one short month! To avoid the shame of sending out boxed cards :-) I sat up the other night dedicated to a design that was completely different than the design I had been planning since October, involving many steps that I just couldn't figure out how to streamline. I only got through 12! So, this challenge seems perfect for me. I hope getting into the Christmas spirit in April, when my flower stamps are calling me, won't be too difficult though! I think I will try for three per month...
This helped me immensely this year! Only problem is that I didn't take the time to post my creations. My goal for 2015 will be 8 per month from January through October leaving time for gift tags in November. And I'm hoping to post them all too. Good luck with your goals, everyone!

Let's try to NOT fizzle out together, shall we :-)
