DESCRIPTION: Alice's Kids provides gift cards for children who have a need. They provide the gift card so that the parent can give the item directly to the child to preserve the dignity of the parent and child. They have a network of hundreds of teachers and social workers and other professionals who identify the children in need. Founded 2011, their mission is to enhance the self-esteem of children in need by providing the targeted financial assistance. SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS: Please do not use glitter. Envelopes are appreciated.
GUIDELINES: Please keep in mind, we are representing SCS by sending our cards each month. Recycling is always good, but only use products on your cards that you would like to receive on cards. Also, our card donations are not tax deductible and it is not required. Please do not ask for a receipt. Most of these organizations are volunteers and spend countless hours helping others, let's help make their jobs easier and bless them in helping others.

This is only optional and you do not have to play along to send your cards to the featured cause for the month. We always take cards no matter if you play along in the challenge or not. I know right? My heart was breaking and yet so happy that a group like this exists.
Normally I struggle with kids cards, but I found some very bright and cheerful papers to use and am having a ball making cards for this group. I might even be done early this month!
Zella, you had mentioned a need for birthday cards in the next couple of months. Is that for adults, children, or both? If we’ll need more kids’ birthday cards, I thought I could make more while I’m using all my child birthday supplies this month. Thanks!

Hi all, I'm sorry but cards are going to be late. I have been experiencing a flare up with my RA and my fibromyalgia. I have all the papers cut up and ready to be assembled. Then, i will go back through and stamp them. I am using the It's My Party paper srack. Hope to mail them soon. Not sure when though.
