------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For a little added inspiration you can join us in playing along with the OPTIONALchallenge each month. This is only optional and you do not have to play along to send your cards to the featured cause for the month. We always take cards no matter if you play along in the challenge or not. Christmas is our challenge this month! Let's share the Christmas joy that is inside our hearts! Be sure to use the keyword C4AC so that we can check out your card and comment! To see this gallery C4AC click here.
----------------------------------------------------------------- Also, we have a section now for on going Cards For A Cause, these are organizations that take cards all year. If after your monthly generous giving you have others, check out our Ongoing Missions. Thank you so much for all you do!
Fellow SCSer's, thank you for spreading your SCS love! Once you have mailed them come back to us here and share with us your creations.
I will try to send some, but I don't think I'm going to be able to send as many as usual this month.

Bless you all and Happy Thanksgiving. Regardless of the times, there is always something to be grateful for and I am very thankful to be a part of this caring group.
First off - Happy Thanksgiving!! We do have so much to be thankful for even in such a crazy year as this has been. I'm certainly thankful for each one of you and your continued support each month.
I'm starting to get things together for 2021 and wanted to get your input. Are there past causes that touch your heart and you want to see again? Are there any organizations that you want us to feature? Is there a type of cause that is close to your heart that you would like us to find a group to support? Let me know either here or pm or email me directly at [email protected]. This is your group and you are the reason that we touch so many lives each month.

i have enjoyed making cards for all the organizations you've posted. I struggle finding images for organizations that say "no food, no family, no toys" etc in the images. I understand why they do that, I just don't have images that work for those as well. I like making cards for kids and seniors and teens. Also like the occasional animal group. Whatever you pick will be fine though. The Lighthouse Pregnancy Center was one of my favorites. As was Alice's Kids.

I'd like to see W.H.E.A.T. come up again in 2021, They do a real service to your deployed troops by providing them not only with card but stamps and writing instruments. Other than that group, I trust in whatever you select.
WHEAT is definitely coming up again....they have requested to be in the second of half of 2021...so be watching for them!

I have enjoyed making cards for all of these wonderful organizations. W.H.E.A.T was one of my favorites as was Bring Smiles to Seniors. What ever ones you select, I know all these wonderful card makers will rise to the occasion.

In 2021 are you going to update the thread that shows what is up and coming for the next three months? I really liked knowing what was coming down the line. That way, when I mailed my box of cards during the second or third week of the month, I could begin on the next month's cards.

I, too, think you do a great job selecting the orgs. I did really enjoy W.H.E.A.T. because it reminded me of the first org I made cards for which has now shut down. So, it was great to see another org that supports the troops. But I also enjoyed the Seniors and the animal groups. So, whatever you pick will be fine. I agree with Lorraine that it is helpful to have the org names in advance, but I understand that isn't always possible.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and that they are enjoying this Holiday Season despite the restrictions.
So I had a bunch of cards made up - and when I came back to get the shipping address I caught the "no small parts"... and realized that every single one of my cards had been blinged with jewels, sequins or enamel dots ... So I've gone back and am creating cards with no bling... Given how late I'll be shipping I'm sticking strictly to Birthday cards....
I'm hoping to have them ready for shipment Tomorrow or Thursday.
Oh I'm sure they will be thrilled to get cards any time!

My plan is to have the whole year posted so that y'all can see what organizations are coming up. I have vacation between Christmas and New Years and hope to have everything in place by then....I hope....I hope...

For the record - Serious Job Hunting is as much a full time job as is having a full time job!!!
24 Cards going into mailbox today to Cornerstone Rescue Mission - remarkable given the outage at the USPS site!!! Tracking #9405 5036 9930 0154 4236 17
I also forgot to post about sending a package of 36 cards. According to tracking it was received yesterday, but I sent it priority and should've been delivered by 12/3.
