2017 Cards For A Cause
DECEMBER MISSION
Stamp from the Heart!
ORGANIZATION BEING FEATURED: Forgotten 4-Paws
Description of Organization:
Forgotten 4-Paws is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), volunteer-run organization concerned with the welfare of all animals. Since they were founded in 1996, they have aided in the sterilization of over 10,000 pets, preventing countless unwanted pregnancies. They also rescue abandoned, neglected, and stray cats and dogs, with the help of caring foster families, and adopt them into loving forever homes.

Thank You and Congratulations to new adopting parents. In addition, they can also use pet sympathy cards.
SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS:
No thick or heavy embellishments that would make the card difficult to mail in a regular envelope. Please provide envelopes, if possible.

GUIDELINES:
Please keep in mind, we are representing SCS by sending our cards each month. Recycling is always good, but only use products on your cards that you would like to receive on cards. Also, our card donations are not tax deductible and it is not required. Please do not ask for a receipt. There have been groups that will send thank you's but the "referred by" person keeps us informed and passes on the thank you's. Most of these organizations are volunteers and spend countless hours helping others, lets help make their jobs easier and bless them in helping others.
For a little added inspiration you can join us in playing along with the OPTIONAL challenge each month. This is only optional and you do not have to play along to send your cards to the featured cause for the month. We always take cards no matter if you play along in the challenge or not. This months challenge is to be inspired by the color/mood board, see first post below. Be sure to use the keyword C4AC so that we can check out your card and comment! Yay - I get to play with my animal images! LOL But I have to say I could KICK myself! I bought a cute animal-themed christmas stamp set a couple of months ago. If I had made cards right away with it, I could have sent them in time for them to be able to use them this year. Bummer.

sometimes using those new goodies right away is not that easy...I know I have had packages rolling in this week since the good friday, small business saturday, and cyber monday sales! I am hoping to get time this week to create!

Do the cards need to be animal themed (have animals on them) for this cause? I have some other designs to work on for my blog and thought I could I include them in the package if it�s ok to send non-animal cards.

I'm suffering from the same dilemma - I'm making good progress after work with "un-hiding" my craft supplies i had to hide for the holiday family invasion :-) ...
I figure i'll get most of NewYears Day to work on cards, so I'm hoping to get cards out early next week! |

Had a problem getting this mailed last month. I'm blaming my daughter and her basketball schedule! ;)
Also didn't get as many made as usual, but these were also more layers and more involved then usual. So quality over quantity I guess this month (24 total).
