2020 Cards For A Cause APRIL MISSION

ORGANIZATION BEING FEATURED: Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center
DESCRIPTION:
(From their website) Our desire at REALife Relationship & Love Training is to see teens and young adults have the healthiest and most fulfilling relationships possible. We believe that making good sexual decisions plays a big part in achieving that goal and that a combination of influences and choices start in the pre-teen years! That is why we also want to be a support to parents/guardians, mentors, youth leaders, and educators of all kinds in their efforts to promote sexual integrity in the lives of the students in their world. Our hope is that we can provide some of the support and influences essential to help your students attain the best relationships possible, both now and in the future!
TYPE OF CARDS REQUESTED:
They would love half to be Welcome baby and the other half thank yous for donors if possible...some could even say something like "Every life is a gift".
SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS:
Please include envelopes. Religious cards are welcome.
GUIDELINES:
Please keep in mind, we are representing SCS by sending our cards each month. Recycling is always good, but only use products on your cards that you would like to receive on cards. Also, our card donations are not tax deductible and it is not required. Please do not ask for a receipt. There have been groups that will send thank you's but the "referred by" person keeps us informed and passes on the thank you's. Most of these organizations are volunteers and spend countless hours helping others, let's help make their jobs easier and bless them in helping others.

For a little added inspiration you can join us in playing along with the OPTIONAL challenge each month. This is only optional and you do not have to play along to send your cards to the featured cause for the month. We always take cards no matter if you play along in the challenge or not.
This months challenge is to be inspired by COLOR – try to avoid pink and blue...let's see what other colors we use other than the typical pink and blue for babies.

I'm the one who suggested this cause and have friends that work there. You can certainly still send them your cards.

I discovered C4AC in the middle of April, so I'm a little late getting out my baby cards. I've learned I need to allow myself at least two weeks to make about 10-15 cards and I definitely need to stock up on more paper for card bases! I'm impressed with you ladies that are able to make 30, 40, 50+ cards!! Wow! I made 10. Lol. But maybe I'll build up to more. Putting mine in the mail tomorrow. I love that SCS has this Cards for a Cause. Thank you to you all who are organizing this!
