Those are ADORABLE!. AND I received a box today full of really CUTE panda and Frog cards from Ms. Vicki of Idaho! Thank you! Thank you ALL who have made such a great effort to send cards to this cause.
I met with the lady from Brighter Birthdays in person this morning. She's just sweet. In half an hour she had me in tears a couple times - there are so many children even whose families are homeless. One of the organizations serving a neighboring county has such a high population of homeless children they keep a stock of clothing on hand. They have begged Brighter Birthdays to please come there, next. Meanwhile, BB is now sourcing "stress relief " toys such as play dough and other manipulatives. Can you imagine being a child with THAT much stress in the home? Or not even having a home and trying to learn in school?
20 cards going in mail today before i leave down again tomorrow....
They're probably most appropriate for tween/teens....
I'm not so good with cards for kids-kids - and really wanted to send cards for whichever kids i could before taking out again.

Linda, my cards will not be going out until Monday. I have a crafty weekend coming up and will be assembling the card kits I have been working on for the past 2 weeks. My plan is to have over 100 cards to send to this great cause.

Home safe and sound after a hair-raising ride through Atlanta at rush hour on a Friday afternoon. HOLY MOLEY BATMAN! I am ready for a nice peaceful weekend of cardmaking. . . after unpacking, laundry, grocery shopping etc. Can't wait to see tomorrow's mail that's been accumulating for a week!
Brighter Birthday's month is over on Monday. You folks have given us a great start and I can't thank you enough. I'll keep the tally going for as long as cards come in and pop back to this thread with updates. Thank you so so much!
Twenty-six cards done, might add a few more before I mail on Monday. Just couldn't get them out today.

Hi all - I'm going to hijack the thread for a moment to post an email I received from my contact at Hospice House of Brunswick, our March receipient. This is for all of you!
I was just putting out the rest of the box of cards you last delivered and just wanted to send you a quick thank you for collecting and making the cards. They are just wonderful and our families seem to be eating them up!
I really did just want to reach out and say thank you for giving your time, talents and love back to us.
You are so appreciated.
Please share a big thank you to your online group as well!! I love the stamps on the back of some of them with the state where they came from.

STUNNED again today. 8 boxes of cards. You gals. I don't know what to say and I can't see the keyboard things seem kinda blurry when i think of your generosity toward these kids. Thank you seems so inadequate.
Met the lady from Brighter Birthdays this morning for half an hour - she brought me 6 more envelopes for a total of 150 MORE cards. You guys! choking up again. You're beyond wonderful.
