I love - love - love the simplicity of this sketch that lets the panels be the star instead of the layers. Thanks so much for the challenge - Here is my card:
went with a mixed media snow/icy theme- inspired by my clear McD's to go holiday cup- even my sentiment is from that cup I used 4 colors for my 3 panel segments, divided by a yarn and twine tie(s). Added die cut snowflakes, and a vintage snowman image from A Merry Season (SU). I especially like the vellum-like stars from the clear cup I die cut on my Big Shot (with some shims to help). __________________ We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.
I moved the panels to the bottom of the sketch and put the #1 space at the top. I added a triangle-envelope flap overlay for the sentiment and a ribbon bow at the top to the sketch. Here is my card:
