This is kind of a 'busy' sketch, so it was hard not to use too many elements. I kept it in just two colors with gold accents.
Here's my card for the sketch: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I can't remember the last time I did a challenge...why have I waited?? This was so fun! I am not a "panel" girl, but this worked out great for this set, and I worked in Emily's color challenge! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Rox, This was a fun challenge. You always come up with some good ones.
I used a little too much stickles, so I'm not crazy about it, but here it is: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

and Thank You, Roxie for giving me the greatest layout for my valentines!! The sentiments says:*Nothing's better than a good friend with chocolate.* from Like It A Latte, and the glitter heart really adds *Bling*!!
Well, I finally have done a card sketch again. Not that I haven't liked them...I just haven't had the time. Hope you like it.;) Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Finished mine after fudging the sketch a little to get it all to fit. This was a great challenge, but I have about four other cards in pieces on my desk from all the things I tried to use on this card. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks so much for the challenge.
Peggy
Here's mine....
first time I've combined two challenges. This was a lot of fun to work with....
I can see a lot of cards with this sketch in my future.
boy, this was a popular one, huh?!! here's my contribution: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
had fun w/ this one (not sure about the pumpkin panel, though ~ may change it out later)!! thanks Rox!! and TFL!!!
I think I was having a bad card day today. I spent 2 hours making this card! It never takes me that long. I had to combine the color challenge with this sketch. And I think that was my problem. The colors seem quite dark to me, and I couldn't figure out what stamps to use with them. Oh well, I got the card done. Thanks Rox! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I have to say, I LOVE THIS SKETCH! My only complaint is that I couldn't get started earlier so I'd have time to make a dozen! Anyway, I saw how everyone was using buttons on their cards, which reminded me of all the cute buttons I have in my stash...May have gone a little 'button crazy'! TFL, and great job, everyone!!!
Hmmm...I think this was the trickiest challenge I've done since I started these. After sitting and staring at the stamps on the shelf for a while this is what I came up with. Thanks Roxie.
Thanks for the neat sketch! I have a hard time getting things to look even when I try stuff like this. It probably means I should practice it more, or maybe get a better trimmer!
I agree with several of the above thoughts - fun but difficult. I had a struggle finding the right size stamps to kind of go together, and to find something for the little narrow piece. I like the result, but should have cropped a bit more. I could not find any buttons, etc. small enough. I liked the color challenge colors, and had not had a chance to do that - thought those colors worked with my stamps. But as Burnham1997 said, it took time!
This was a really hard one for me. These sketches are so great to use as a jumping off point but I had trouble finding things to fit into the right sized rectangles. Sometimes we need a challenge, right!? Here's mine:
I just came from the gallery and I'm finding lots of cards with the wrong keywords; they should look like this: SC108 without spaces between letters and numbers.
You aren't causing any extra work for anyone if they are wrong but your card will get over looked for those of us that do a gallery search using the challenge keywords when we are making comments. This is how I view when the gallery is running smoothly and I normally just check the thread for questions.
If you need to edit the directions are in the master thread linked in the opening post of this thread and in Beth's sticky thread at the top of the Card Sketches forum.
Well, it took me all day contemplating, trying to figure out what to do with this sketch. I almost decided not to do one. Here's mine: friendship adds fragrance.
Here's my version of today's challenge SC108. I had fun with this one pulling in stamps from everywhere. I needed to make some more masculine birthday cards. TFL.
This is my version- I made a graduation card . I have B/G twins graduating in May! The colors are so off- the white is sponged with orange, as their school colors are Orange/Black.
