Update on Karisma!!!!
 

I just got off the phone with Karisma and she is doing good. She is getting transfered to Salem tomorrow for more intense therapy. She was home for a little bit this last weekend and went about 50 to 60 feet with the help of a cain. She is having problems with her left arm and is hoping this therapy will help with that. She is hoping to be home for good in about 2 weeks or so. They discovered that CHF is what caused this and they are now treating her for that. She is doing much better than the doctors thought she would be doing so that is wonderful. She thinks you guys are all goofballs for making her queen but she loves it. All the nurses really like all the cards she has gotten to. I told her I would make this post cause it takes her a really long time to type with just one hand.

I hope this help all of you who have been wondering how she is doing.

I don't have her new address yet but if you mail it to her house her husband will give it to her.

It is so nice to have some good news! That is GREAT!! All I can say is, if RAKs have healing power, she is about to feel alot better!!! LOL

Thanks a lot for the update! I keep checking the threads to see how she
is doing. When you next talk to Karisma, ask her if she has heart problems? I was very concerned when you said that it was caused by CHF (and yes, that is congestive heart failure). Generally, you see CHF in the elderly or people with heart and lung problems - not someone 35!!! I just really feel for her.
