Tombow Mono Adhesive refills

Hey all, Just thought I'd pass along a sale I found. Viking is selling refills for only $1.88 each. These refills are number 62202. At first I thought I had the wrong stuff but I called and it is right. I guess tombow has changed the color of the tape to purple..go figure. Well if you are interested here is a link.

Melissa, they aren't purple, I think it is just a way to keep them color coded for permanent and repositional. I bought 14 of them from there (for free shipping) and they are the normal color. Just a FYI they do come next day through that company, it is so awesome when you NEED it now... just gotta wait a day

have some questions, how did you find this deal? Do you have to be a customer with Vicking, can you just order these refills and not be obligated to order anything else in the future? How long does this deal last?

for those wondering, YES they are the new refills. You can order them and it is just like any other company, if you choose to order from them again great, otherwise you are never obligated to keep ordering from company. Not sure how long they will keep up with that price because if you just look on the site they don't come that cheap!! So make sure to type in 62202 for the refills at $1.88 each and 62201 for the dispensers at $2.98 each. Last time I looked they were out of dispensers though, so might have to keep trying for that.

I just ordered from Viking and they are the most amazing company. I ordered a ton of Mono and refills, plus labels (stamping something for the entire first grade for my daughter's school - being room mom adds up :shock: ) Anyway, the order came the next day, but included an incorrect item. I called them, they apologized profusely, and the next day sent a delivery guy to pick up the incorrect item (I didn't even need to package it) and I received the correct item the same day. All of this with no shipping charges. (They're local here in Chicago so this special delivery guy treatment might have had something to do with that.)

I highly recommend them. I'm not obligated to place any more orders but I definitely will.

Soooooooo sorry all.. need to put QL6-62202 for the $1.98 refills and QL6-62201 for the $2.98 dispensers... knew forgot something.. Think these were in a sale catalog that is why need the first 3 digits.

Just got mine ordered! Sent the info to my upline and she ordered a gazillion of them too! I noticed that the catridges had the tape in them as well so that was a great deal-$2.88 for the cartridge and tape! Thanks so much for telling us about this.

FYI...to any others who live in Hawaii or Alaska, Viking doesn't bill or ship to our states. :? I found a way around it, of course, My sweet Mother-in-Law let me use her CC and have the order shipped to her...then she will bring it when she comes to visit next month! YEA!!

Man, they weren't kidding when they said next day delivery. I had my adhesive in my hand less than 24 hours after ordering it. That is so awsome and for the price you can't beat it. I hope you all have as good of luck with them as I have.

Kimorr - I ordered during the April sale for the Dispenser and refills, the dispenser was on backorder then, too. I got it like five days later, so the wait wasnt' bad at all! Viking is wonderful, and I will probably keep ordering from them since we can restock for such a good price. They also sent me a big catalog for future orders.

Man! I just got mine(on Tues). 5 days later... Not really upset or anything, just thought it would be here sooner... ordered on Thurs. Someone from the Co. did call to see how my order went, I had to tell her I hadn't rec'd yet. But she was very nice!

I bought 2 cartridges and 11 refills - I figured I better order 2 cartridges in case I loose one

When I placed my first order with Viking 2 months ago, I received a call from Customer Service asking how I liked the product, service, etc. The CS Rep asked how I had heard about Viking, and I told her it was through a Yahoo group I belonged to. She also asked if I was a SU! demonstrator! I had to laugh! She said they get tons of orders for refills all the time! I'm not a demo, just a big SU! fan. I just ordered more refills last week (30) and I paid $1.99 each. Oh well, it's still a great deal in my opinion!

Call the company and see if you can get the better price! Since it was only last week, and you bought so many of them, they might be able to discount them for you. I would try - that's two more refills you could of have! LOL

I just love Viking! I have been ordering from them for over a year and they have always been great, even when I ordered the wrong item! They were very helpful and let me exchange the product with no extra charges, and I still had them the next day! I usually buy 50-60 at a time, since I buy for a group of us, so I always call and ask for the better deals that are going on!

Once you are a customer on the website at Viking, check the box that says "Your private sale". Often, when you can't find the coupon code for the mono adhesive sale, it will be there when you click the box. That's how I found it last time!

I believe SU just started selling the new style last year. The ones I ordered from Viking do fit the SU ones. The older style had a removable lid while the new style has a flip lid that doesn't come off.

I just ordered a bunch of refills and 2 dispensers--but as someone already said, each dispenser also comes with a roll of adhesive already in it! Although my total included a $1.48 processing fee and $1.55 in tax (for me anyway--I live in Wisconsin)--it is still a great deal!

One word of advice--when I was on the Viking site and had already put the refills and dispensers in my cart at the special price, I went surfing around the site to see what other good deals I could find. Well, while I was rummaging around the prices of the Mono products in my cart "bumped" up to a higher price! I don't know how that happened, so I just emptied my cart and started over. But the second time around I went straight to check-out to make sure I got the $1.88 and $2.98 prices. Nothing was on back order, either.
