I stayed up till midnight and then awoke at 6 am and now I find out I have to wait longer, oh brother!
isn't mountain time an hour before central?
so if I am in OK, it'll be 11 am for me?
Dangit!! I got up before my son (22 months) just to be sure to be able to peruse the online catalog in peace!! ARGH!! must wait till naptime now...
Wish my demo had gotten my hard copy to me already! But then i'd be losing sleep on the other end, lol, staying up late with it, heheheeh
huggles to all others eagerly awaiting!!
I'm not at home until tomorrow night, and the internet connection is slow
sadly, if they only keep the catty in a pdf file, I will never see it- unable to download.
I hope that it's on the site without downloading anything soon!
Have used up my lunch hour trying to load the catalog. Darn. Time to go back to work. Maybe later tonight. My daughter says it is a sign that I don't need anything else. She doesn't know much! lol
My advice to everyone is to be patient today when trying to view the catalog. There are thousands of people trying to get on at the same time. But, the catalog is worth the wait! My customers have already been streaming to my house to pick up their copy!
Also, to those of you who do not have a demonstrator yet, you will want to make sure you have one (you can find one through the demonstrator locator) before we go 'live' with the online ordering. While you will be able to order online without a demonstrator, it will cost you more. Stampin' Up! wants to ensure that customers still receive 'personal service' through demonstrators.
OOH thanks for the link, i'm just d/l. So happy to be able to d/l it and read at my leisure OFFLINE rather than have to be hooked up and on SU!'s site. My DH is a weirdo about being online longer than necessary, and with a new catalog to view...umm....yeah:rolleyes:
Can't wait to look! It's a SLOW d/l..I was wondering if we'd crash the site, LOL, it's happened before!

Reason: Edit: screen stuck while d/l catalog! LOL it took about two hours....
My question too???? I really do not want to download the catty, I'll get one when my demo gets back from vacation but I just want to cruise, ya know!!!
This is crazy I have been downloading the Canadian version ofthe catalogue fro over 2 hours now. and it is still downloading. I was a demo up til January and do not have a demo here in my new town. so this is extremely painful. It really should be up and running at full capacty by now. Stampin' up! really needs to improve their server if this is the case..... They should know by now with all the countries they are in and all that there will be millions of people on the site by now. Come On Stampin' Up! how do you expect your customers to plan what to buy if they are unable to see the new catalogue right away.
I think the company/server that hosts the catalogue online has encountered some technical difficulties, as now when you click on the 'on line catalogue' link, it takes you to the page to download the PDF, not the on-line flash one.
I hope they will have a flash version too. The PDF version takes sooo long to download. It keeps stopping at aboul 100 pages ...want to see thw whole thing!!!
I have been by my computer waiting for 2pm EST to view the catalog. I haven't gotten my box nor my comp copy. Oh the agony! I was so excited when I got to see the first 164 pages....then....torcher....it gave me an error stating that the pdf file could not finish downloading. That I would have to contact the issuing administrator. Aaaarrrggghhh!!! I am on DSL internet and it is super slow to download the catty. Maybe its the way it was dowloaded to the site? Maybe it'll be better later. Its taking me all day to view it. But I love what I've seen so far.
I've been trying to download the new catty, but it timed out and wants to start over...I just want to scream. Why doesn't it just show up online like the old one did???
I was able to download the file after several hours at a rate of 2 KB/second on a broadband connection and the file won't open. I must say that I am a little dissapointed that Stampin Up did not invest a little more funds into increasing their technology to support the large amount of people who would want to see the catalog when it is supposed to be available. It should not be a surprise to them that this many people would be trying to view or download the catalog today. Someone or a group of people obviously missed the mark. I will try again tomorrow and hopefully someone in Utah will wake up, smell the coffee and realize they need to do something to make it better. I really feel bad for demos that don't have the catalog yet.
