I am not sure if anyone has posted this or not, but I was at Wal-Mart this morning and they have halloween and floral Studio G items for 97 cents. The have the regular clear stamps, stamp pads, wooden stamps, etc. but they also have chipboard, 12 x 12 paper packs, stickers and flowers. I can't remember everything, but it was a pretty good selection.
I have never seen any at our Walmarts either - were they in the remains of the scrapbook section? or in the seasonal area with the Halloween merchandise?

At the stores here they are across from the party supplies with the scrapbook supplies. Our store was just remodeled. They also did away with all the Cricut stuff.
My DD works there. She asked and was told they are thinking of doing a dollar spot type thing as well. It is being done in a test market so we will see how that works out.
I was quite pleased to see a section of Studio G items in little square bins with dividers between the various items at my WM yesterday. IT looked kind of picked over as there wasn't a lot to choose from. Yet, that pleased me as maybe they'll see that there's a market for this stuff and stock MORE stamps/embellies/ribbon and the like. I hope so! Otherwise, the nearest stamp store is just too far away and I can very rarely indulge my stamp fix. Plus at .97/item, it's fun and relatively painless to pick up a couple of things!
I finally made it to Wal-Mart--an hour's drive from home. It still had the old scrapbook stuff. The Cricut carts are still $39. The pickings are a little slim, though, so hopefully in the near future the Studio G products will appear!
nothing in our Walmart.......... in fact, nearly all the scrapbooking is gone. Even the stickers, which I don't use anyway, is nearly gone.......... don't look for any of the stamps to show up hre in Hernando MS
I'm so lucky - I have an informant at my Walmart! I've gotten friendly with the gal who runs the fabric/craft dept. She's really nice, a quilter, not a stamper, but the creative sort.
I asked her about the Studio G stuff when it first showed up here on the board. They didn't have it at that time, but she sent me an email this week about it. She was so cute. She said, "The Studio G stuff is all stocked on the shelves and just waiting for you!"
Of course, I dashed right down to the store. It cracked her up that I came so quickly. I got quite a few clear stamps, a couple of rubber stamps, and a ton of the little Studio G pigment ink pads. They are nice and I love having lots of colors. I also got a bunch of rhinestone packs. Love that bling!
I hope they keep the section stocked as time goes on. I shop at Walmart for all my groceries, so I can keep an eye on it.

Hi guys, I got some Studio G Glitter Glue when I got my goodies at Walmart the other day. It comes in a tiny bottle and looks just like Stickles.
Just had a chance to try it out. It performs very well. In fact, I can't tell the difference between it and my Sticklels. It has the same tiny little nozzle on the bottle so you can apply it easily. It dries with lots of sparkle and shine.
I've tried no-name glitter glue in the past, and been very disappointed that it didn't have much sparkle when it dried.
The Studio G glitter glue is very good. But it doesn't seem to come in too many colors. The bottle I got doesn't have a name for the color, but looks like the Crystal or Diamond Stickles. That's okay with me because I mostly use the Diamond, Stardust, or Crystal Stickles anyway. They take on the color of whatever I put it on.

Glad to hear this. I didn't buy any because I wasn't sure, but will have to get some the next time I am there.

I bought some really cute Studio G 12x12 paper packs at a local Walmart. 6 sheets for .99 cents! Also got the blank cards with envelopes. 6 for .99 cents too. Lots of ink pads, other paper packs, stamps etc. Super deal. Our local Walmart didn't have much so I shopped in another town. They had an entire section of scrapbooking stuff all studio G! They said it was all "new" and they would be stocking it for a while. Yippee!

Wow...this is great news that the Studio G brand of glitter glue works as well as Stickles! Yes, I'll be picking up some the next time I go to Wal-Mart. I did just get some cute Halloween stamps there and was so happy to see this section had just been restocked with more goodies. Gosh was I ticked at Wal-Mart when they discontinued their stamping section. Now with their addition of Studio G products, they've redeemed themselves. YEAH...love Studio G as it's so affordable. Hopefully the rest of you will have your Wal-Marts stocking these products and SOON! Here's hoping!!!!
From what I understand, through the holidays, they will have that display set for the different holidays/winter coming up. So watch for Christmas/Channakah/Winter stuff soon.
I can't believe it! Lots of the glitter glue in different shades (and I agree with bugg - I tried them and they DO work just as nice as Stickles IMHO!), cute stamps, rhinestones, little Halloween punches..all kinds of goodies! I was pleasantly surprised!
I hope you are right and there is more to come for Thanksgiving and Christmas - that would be awesome!
The only problem I have with the studio G paper is getting it to stick to my cutting mat. Anyone else have that problem? Used a new mat, older mat, rubbed the bejesus out of it, and rolled it out with a brayer. It seems to have a slick type coating to it. Suggestions? Thanks for any help...
