all hobby lobbys are closed on sundays
and they only take their own coupons
sign up on their website for their weekly flyers
I saw that about the Sundays. I was hoping that they would stay open on Sundays in NY. Thought maybe that was a mid-west thing. ;) We can always hope...Bet the other craft stores in the area like that they are not open on Sundays....maybe they will run more specials to keep us in there stores..

I was over at the old south hills mall yesterday and the two place its
looks like it could be have a ways to go, but I know they can work fast.
The store spaces are really big.
I am excited I shopped there when I was in Alabama.

My friend told me she was told it would open in 3 months. She got that from someone that works over there on the buildings or something. I am hoping for a big grand opening right before the holidays!!!
I guess I need to start saving my money now.
I have visited their website before and they have
some great stuff.
Also My wish list for the new SU catalog is huge.

I am excited that a Hobby Lobby will be opening (somewhat near me!). Is the South Hills Mall the one on the left if you are going north on 9 about a half mile or so before the Super Wal-Mart? Thanks.

South Hills is the mall near the Poughkeepsie Galleria. Hope that helps!

I'm looking forward to it. I looked on their website (briefly) and cannot tell if they stock any ink refills. Does anyone that regularly shops at a HL know if they carry re-inkers? If so, which brands?
I work at the HL corporate office and looked to see if I could find an estimated open date. They currently haven't set any dates yet, but I will try to keep checking to find out for you guys!

OMG!!! That would be great and so nice of you. I know all of us in the area can not wait. Do you know if they do anything special for there "Grand Openings" of there stores?

I was just in Poughkeepsie on Monday and drove past the South Hills Mall area. The buildings look very nice. I don't know if they were open yet, but I saw a Bob's Furniture, The Christmas Tree Shop, and ShopRite. Does anyone have an update as to when Hobby Lobby might be opening?
I have been keeping an eye on the list they post here at corporate and they haven't posted a projected opening date yet. I think we are supposed to be getting a new list today, so maybe I will have some news!

Thanks Steph ... as you can probably tell those that live near (or near enough) are anxiously awaiting its opening!
BTW, do you happen to know (or be able to find out easily) if they sell re-inkers. That is one essential craft product that is difficult to get in stores. I would especially love Brilliance, Adirondack and StazOn reinkers.
They are getting closer in distance to me! Poughkeepsie, NY is only 122 miles each way for me. It's a bummer they are not open on Sundays. Does anyone know if they are open on holidays?

That's great news!!! I was just up there yesterday and I was wondering when the big day would be. I can't wait!!!
October 12 is still the official grand opening date. BUT, if you are anxious to check out the store, I am pretty sure that it will physically be open to the public a few days earlier.

Several friends and I plan to make a road trip to the new store later this month. We're about 60 miles from the store.
