About Us Welcome to Digi Design House! Digi Design House is an extension of our parent company, The Angel Company, and our solution to making our fabulous stamps, papers and more available to individuals worldwide. Since The Angel Company launched in 1997 we have amassed an incredible library of stamps and stamp sets. Over the years we retire our fabulous stamps and typically bring them back for special occasions only until now! At Digi Design House we look forward to introducing you to some of our most beloved designs of all time! Some of our products housed here have been retired by The Angel Company, some never made publication and some have been designed specifically for Digi Design House. Unlike our parent company, Digi Design House is a brick and mortar design house serving every customer directly and not through the direct sales model. Again, welcome to our fabulous world of digital stamps and papercrafting products!
Strange that they have bypassed their angels and are selling directly. I'm glad SU didn't go that route with all the digital stamp sets they are putting out now.
Probably woulnd't make sense to sell digital images through a demo, would increase the price of the digis a bit, probably price them out of the market.

But even if the price might be slightly higher, you get the advantage of adding to your regular (online) order to get hostess benefits. Also support from your demo on how to use the program. Also their angels helped make those images popular in the first place - doesn't seem fair to bypass them and go with a different business model.
But eventhough SU does have their digi stuff available through a demo, you can't just give your demo a paper order form with the digi stuff added to your order, like with at a home party or any other party type of order. You have to place your order online yourself to get the downloads. It's not like you can place your order by paper with a SU demo then get some kind of sign-in/password to go online later yourself and download any digital stuff to your computer. No mixing and matching digital and traditional by going through a demo in the traditional home party set-up that SU's so fond of. If there is a way, I haven't heard any demo friends around me that have a clue on how to make that happen.

One thing that is different with TAC verse SU or Even CTMH:
When one has a online Site: Customer can not Place Workshop orders, Therefore they can not get Hostess Benefits.
They have to go through a Demo to get Hostess Benefits..
Which I never understood. I know that there are people out there that don't really want to deal with a Demo. They just want to place an order.
And I've always felt that they should be able to order enough to earn Hostess Benefits.
Nancy, I noticed awhile back that you had your sale to get rid of your TAC stamps. What are you selling now? I too, gave up TAC. It was very discouraging to be told one thing, then something else happened. I just couldn't trust what they said any longer.
Currently Digi Design House is offering retired TAC images.
It does not bother me, as a demo, not to receive commission from this.
I think it was a business savvy idea, to create additional revenue, in this economic climate.

Karen,
The only people this really helps is The Angel Company. And NOT the Demo's!
Plus TAC has put on the Digi image a clause. For those that like using them and selling what they make.
Sure you can purchase them. But you can't make and sell anything you make using this Retired Images.
What I want to know is how they are going to regulate this.
I have a lot of Retired Stamps. That I still use. And they have Digi stamps that are from the same retired stamps. That I have. And I'm sure there are a lot of other people that have them too.
What if I use these and I get told that I can't sell my cards. using these images?
How are they going to know that they aren't the Digi images that they are selling from the Digi Design House?
Besides the ones that have changed in sizes they won't know!
Personally I do not like Digi images.....Plus they are NOT stamps!!!!
It's just seems to me that Digi is taking away from the real thing. I personal like and LOVE the feel of the Rubber in my hands.
Plus the ink from my Printer is also more costly than the ink from my ink pads.
I'm not sure where you are getting your information, but you can make and sell items with the Digi Design House images, just as you can with the TAC images.
This is taken from DDH's FAQ page:
Q: Can I make and sell items with the images?
A: Yes. However, it is not acceptable to share your digi files with others. You can direct them to our website if they are interested in any of our digi sets. Also, please consider giving credit to Digi Design House.
I hope that clarifies things more so as to not confuse anyone that is interested in buying and using their images.
I never thought I would take the digi plunge, but I fell in love with the stamp set Michelle Perkett did for TAC Base Book, and visited here digi shop. She designs these beautiful fairies, angels, and goddesses that I adored.
Then Mabelle, a favorite TAC designer for years went digi, so I tried some of her designs. And that's how I got started.

I do love the fairies, angels, etc...too. I have a couple little clear stamps of them. I do enjoy them!! And Mabelle is a great designer!! Enjoy them!!
Can someone tell me what the different, is between sharing Stamped images and Digi images?
To me it's the same thing!
It's not like I'm buying the Digi image and then re-selling it.
Perhaps it is the sheer multitude of images that you can get from the digital file of that image. When you stamp an image and share, you are still in control of how many images are given. When you share a digital file, there is no way to contain how many images are given to any one or a multitude of people.
Did that make sense?

Nancy,
Yes that makes prefect Sense too me now. I didn't think about it that way.
i am so glad i am not with TAC anymore. i quit over a year and a half ago. it was a waste of time. I never sold anything. now they are going digi. I am bored with cute cats and dog stamps. Such A bore!
Hi Melissa,
Have you seen the latest catalogs?
TAC has gone back to focusing on the stamper and brought in several diverse designers.
Lots of different styles, and variety of themes.

I was at a TAC party on Friday. I got the Fly Fairy set, and the PEACE BE STILL set. I also bought the navy cardstock, some floss, acrylic blocks,etc... Can't wait for my order to come. I have gotten interested in vintage, for some reason. Maybe I've been lurking in Tim Holtz site for too long. LOL
Melissa, the TAC stamps aren't on wood. They are on foam, and you use them with acrylic blocks. they are rubber, not clear, but you use them exactly the same way as clear, on an acrylic block. Karen, your card is beautiful! I loved how you did it, and I left you a comment. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
