  • Stamps, Verve Stamps Great Friend used here

Step-by-Step

  1. Step 1

Sponge your first color on to your cardstock.

Make sure you leave some white for the other colors.

  2. Step 2

    Sponge your second color.

  3. Apply your last color to your cardstock. Make sure you have no white cardstock left showing.

    Hint:
When using Distress inks make sure you work fast and apply lots of ink so the entire piece of cardstock stays wet to step 4.

  4. Step 3

Ink up your stamp with White Pigment Ink. Stamp image over background. Repeat until you like how your background looks.

  5. Step 4

Pour clear embossing powder over the whole cardstock.

  6. Step 5

Tap off extra embossing powder and heat. Make sure your whole cardstock is covered in embossing powder.

    Hint:
If you have some spots where it doesn't stick anymore, emboss what you have. Next dab the Embossing Ink pad all over the cardstock, pour embossing powder over and emboss again.

  7. Your background is done.

  8. Step 6

    Finish your card.
