Add dimension to solid images with two colors of ink.

Supplies

Solid image stamp

Two coordinating colors of dye ink

Cardstock

Step-by-Step

Step 1

Ink image with lighter colored ink.
Step 2

Ink the edges of the same image with the darker colored ink by rolling edges of the image on the ink pad.
Step 3

The rubber part of your stamp should look something like this.
Step 4

Stamp the image on cardstock.
Step 5 (Optional)

Repeat steps one through three if you need several images.
Step 6

Finished project.

Does it have to be dye ink for this? I want to try it, but only have pigment ink. Thanks.

Hi Edie3,

You can use pigment ink for this technique as well. The ink pads might get a bit messy though.

Hi, very nice card. I am curious how you stamped inside the flower to get that colored in as well. Very creative finish too! Do you have any words of wisdom to a "never ever" stamper as to how you finished the card as well!! Thanks!

That's another stamp in the stamp set I was using. Very easy. Just ink and stamp in the center.
