Loved looking thru Stephanie's gallery. I chose Thanks a Bunch to case. You may be thinking, "this doesn't look like her card". Well, sometimes things go off into directions I can't always control. All I know is, I started out w/ this case in mind and I knew I needed a get well card for a friend's son.
Obviously I changed the images and colors. Her viney images became my twisty road. Her ribbon became my sign post. Her piercing was exchanged for my sponged edges. I moved the sentiment onto it's own oval. Otherwise, they are identical, lol.
The road was drawn freehand and cut out. I used the white gel pen to add the lines. The sign post was a left over piece of bugged brown c/s. I hand wrote the sign directions and the sentiment. Actually, I had a computer generated one all ready, but I accidently smeared the red marker on it and I didn't feel like doing it all over again. Found this little oval already nestisized and wrote on it. Not quite as neat, but it'll do. Layered it onto the original messed up one.
Cut out the images and layered onto the sponged bg, using foam tape on the sign post, the car and the sentiment. Attached this to a black layer and then onto the card which measures 5.5 x 4.25. TFL

This is a sweet card! LOVE the road and the sign post! We actually have a town near here called Wellsville, so that made me giggle! I love the ROAD your artistic mind took you driving on!

This card is fabulous! I don't mind that it looks nothing like my card! I am just glad I was able to inspire you somehow! Thanks so much for casing my card! Yours is absolutely beautiful!
