This is my combo for 3 challenges: LSC= no dp, 3 layers + card, limit embellies, summer theme; WT= mini something; MTVD= use so saffron, pumpkin pie, old olive and choc. chip. I think I've covered all the bases. (Hope so.)
I stamped the 3 little flowers(Imaginisce) , masking over the flower heads, w/ choc. chip onto the saffron. Then stamped the fruit (JFF) 3 times on a scrap of white and colored w/ markers and attached on top of the stems w/ foam tape. Stamped the circle (PTI) and the greeting inside (Stampendous). Cut out and attached to a larger circle of pumpkin pie which was edged w/ a choc. marker.
For the saffron card front, I stamped a really big half citrus slice (Plaid foam stamp) w/ the melon ink. Then over stamped w/ the summer words (HA) and the tiny citrus slice (JFF) using the same ink. I edged all pieces and the card front w/ a choc. marker.
I colored white ribbon w/ a marker and cut two pieces and folded. I attaced all the layers using foam tape between the pumpkin and the card front. The dots were done w/ the choc. maker and gone over w/ the glaze pen. Stickles were added to the citrus and the greeting was attached. TFL

Wow, Julie, I just gotta love this clever idea. The colors are warm like summer. Mini thanks, even cuter. Well, I guess you won the cute award in my class. LOL And I should add that it is one great work of art!

This is truly inspired! I love every single element of this card. The citrus slices look perfectly at home on those stems and those are perfect on your layers.
