This From the Garden hostess stamp is quite big and a challenge to figure out what to do with it. I stamped the image in Always Artichoke on Naturals Ivory and then again on Blush Blossom. Used an aquapainter to fill in the leaves with Mellow Moss and Always Artichoke, but they ended up looking the same to me. I used the aquapainter and Really Rust to add color to the veins of the flower. It doesn't show up in the photo, but I used a two-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the flower center and the veins of the petals. It's sparkly IRL.
The ivory panel was mounted to the moss card front, then both layers were carefully cut out along the bottom edge of the flower and leaves. The blush flower was cut out and layered on top of the ivory panel. I used the Baroque Border wheel with artichoke ink on the inside bottom edge to fill in the space where the card front had been cut out. Tied some ribbon around the flower stem for a little embellishment.
Guess this is one of those cards you think, hmmmmmm, it's kind of what I had in mind, but maybe not quite there yet.

I love it...especially your coloring; I have this stamp as well--used it once b/c I'm not nearly as talented at coloring as you are. I think it's beautiful! TFS!

Don't underestimate yourself! You did really good!
I like the depth that the rust gives to the blush blossom. I would have probably used blush on blush and then wondered why it didn't pop-out as much as I thought it would in my mind. Now (because of your card) I know that rust is going to do a MUCH better job!
