My 2nd card today using my new Serene Sunflower stamp set. I knew I would like this set, but I think it has gone beyond that :-) This card is much more my style. I do love Autumn and the earth element colors. I inked "Linen" with mustard and "Sanded" with Close to Cocoa on watercolor paper for the BG. It made a wonderful canvas look to start my misted watercolor image. I used a 5 1/4" sq. format, so I would not have to cut off any of the image. Even saved more of the image by using the out of the box technique. I really like the results.
BTW, my card was inspired by vkillmore's gorgeous card that I came across in the S Sunflower gallery. Thanks so much.

This card is definitely you--gorgeous! I like the way you layered the ribbons and linen thread. Your Fall color combo is great, too. Like the way you trimmed some of the elements--not only can you fit more on the page, but it gives it more dimension.

Truly gorgeous. You get a great effect by combining the linen and sanded BG stamps on the watercolor paper. This is a piece of art. Great layout and colors.
