This is my card for today's sketch challenge. This is my story!
1. I used the coolest image that I received in the mail from Seattlestamper. You rock girl, thank you so much! I could not wait it to use it and this sketch was perfect for it. BTW, Judy, I wish my scraps would end up being showcased for one of Roxie's challenges!
2. I was a nervous wreck when I was coloring this image! When you only have one, you really can't blow it (mess up) cuz there's no just stamping another one! Very stressful.
3. More stress came when I got the bright idea to stamp the linen background over my carefully colored image!
4. Still more stress when I realized I was using bits and pieces of cardstock in these colors with no full sheets left!
5. Still more stress as a result of a failed mission. See ribbon in between the two brown ribbons at the top of the card. I tore my stamp room apart looking for just one more little tiny piece, we're talking maybe 2 1/2 inches long! Just enough to hang down in the center. No go!
6. Whew! I just want to go to work where the stress is quite minimal compared to this card-making monkey business!

Oh wow, Cindy!! This is absolutely stunning!!! I'm sorry it was so stressful for you, but I gotta tell ya, I really admire that you went ahead and used the image...paper...ribbon... even though it was a 'one-time-only-no-mistakes-allowed' kind of deal!! You see, I tend to desperately hoard these kinds of things and then I never really get to truly appreciate them!! You have inspired me, yet again, my friend!!!

AWESOME JOB. THE STAMP, THE TIES, THE BACK GROUND. EVERYTHING! THE COOLEST CARD AND YOUR COLORING IS JUST SUPERB.
I HAVE TO ADMIT THOUGH, IT DOES MY HEART GOOD TO KNOW THAT SOMEONE LIKE YOU WHO CONSISTANTLY DOES ALL THESE BEAUTIFUL, PERFECT CARDS, SWEATS BULLETS OVER THEM TOO.
I FINISHED MINE LAST NIGHT AND FELL IN TO BE AROUND 3:30am, AND YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE CONDITION OF MY SCRAP ROOM. I WAS SETTING EYELETS AT 3:00am AND NATURALLY DH HAD TO GET UP AND STICK HIS NOSE INTO THINGS. ANYWAY, I FINISHED AND SLEPT-IN THIS MORNING, AND THAT AS THEY SAY, IS MY STORY....

Love your *stress flower*!!! Gorgeous colors!! Some people work better under stress. Course, they live less longer, but their work is phenomenal!!! I guess it depends on what your goals are: long life, or great artistic cards! Hmmmmm! I hope you live a long life...now if you can just relax a little more...I'm sure you'll still be popping out works of art!

Beautiful card, I love the Native American flavor of it. The coloring is great and fantastic job on the challenge. tfs
