I saw crosses in the background when I saw this cool card by Stampaholic (Gallery at Splitcoaststampers ). Immediately I knew what I wanted to do with a stamp I've had for awhile. This is a very untraditional Easter card, but very fitting for the recipient and their current life-challenges. I debated how to 'finish' the bottom edge of the red CS (to tear or not to tear)... and went with the tearing, representing the tearing of the veil in the temple.
I got the stamp 'On the Cross' from Abracadabra Stamp Makers site http://www.acesoverjacks.com/Abracadabra.html (url updated 03Nov200.

I love this card. This is what Easter is about. He has risen and my sins have been washed away. Have a wonderful Easter and I'm sure the person you made this card for will also.
