This past weekend my brother and his fiance asked me to be a bridesmaid in their wedding next June...of course I said yes! I thought I'd send them a little note to let them know how honored I feel to be asked. They've chosen pink and orange as the colors for their wedding, so I thought it would be fun to incorporate those into this card.
This card measures 4 x 4; the base is watercolor paper that comes in large sheets (approximately 30" x 36"); it's leftover from my college art class days so I thought I'd get some use out of it and cut it down to make my own version of the fantastic Fabriano Medioevalis note cards I've seen pop up in the gallery!

this is a great card, I'm sure they will absolutely love it and appreciate your thoughtfulness in using their wedding colors. Well, at least I bet the bride to be will anyway, not sure that the groom to be is going to pay a lot of attention even if he is your brother, but who knows??? Love the card, I am saving all of the simple single layer cards I can find....I love these and my customers will too. Jan

Mmmm, this card is yummy! I love how the bright orange and pink are set off by the white and black. The texture of the paper and ribbon give it a great feel. Love it!
