This is my 2nd try at today's challenge -- white emboss on dark paper, then color with chalks using blender pen, then enhance with marker if you like. I must say, this is rather time consuming, but it does yield nice results of color on dark paper.
Here's a silly little tidibt: I have been fighting with my camera for the last 3 days -- the quality of my photos when right down hill and I was so frustrated not being able to figure out what I was doing wrong. Well, it takes a 14 yr old boy to figure it out -- there was a huge finger print right across about 3/4 of my camera lens. Just wipe it off and I'm back in business. Sometimes I'm so dense I wonder how I make it from one day to the next!!! Just thought I'd share this in case there is anyone else out there as dense as me!!!

Love the color of your results!!! And lets face it, everything looks good with brown, its really the new black.
And I wonder all the time, how it is I'm so stupid and my 14 yr is so smart, didn't he come from me?

It looks like you are doing a great job with this technique. Very pretty.
Oh, well, the camera thing is something that happens to parents-your 14 yr old will be a parent someday and his son will probably figure something out for him and he will think his Mom wasn't dense afterall. Smile. these new generations keep getting smarter when it comes to electronics.
