First I made the background by dropping various colors of craft ink onto a piece of glass and blending them into a pleasing combination. Then I took the large flower from the blossoms set and stamped onto the glass with the ink on it...this removed the ink from the stamped area. I then layed a piece of white CS over the glass and brayered the design onto it. I pierced the large flower from the bodacious blossoms brass template into the background as well to add texture and interest. The 3D flower was made by stamping the large flower again 3 times on both Marigold and apricot cs and cutting them out. I arranged the petals in consecutively smaller circles to make the blossom, shaping them somewhat with my bone folder. The center is made with the flower punch.
