CAS714 = Leaves - I have holly leaves in my image.
IC882 = The Jolly Christmas Shop - I chose these cushions for my inspiration.
I stamped the image and watercoloured it. To echo the red piping on the cushions, I die cut a thin circle out of the panel with the SSS Thin Circle Frame die and watercoloured it the same red as the cardinal. I trimmed the remaining outer part of the panel into a square, attached it to a piece of fun foam, then carefully glued in the thin red circle, and then finally added in the circle with the image. Those thin circle die cuts are very flimsy to deal with!

Gorgeous, Susan. Love the circle outline, that beautiful image, and your lovely watercoloring. Stunning inspired card! Hugz

Loving this card that for me is nostalgic. As a young wife I lived in the boondocks (12 years) and our huge kitchen windows looked out to a fenced woodland. We saw cardinals and all kinds of other resident and migrating birds. We put out seed during winter storms, and this wonderful card brought all that back today. Thank you.

That cardinal will always be in my collection of stamps. It is still always good to see him in the gallery
