This is my card for last Wednesday's Alphabet challenge letter P for petals and also for a TLC challenge from a few weeks ago. It is also my SIL's birthday card. Her favorite color is lavender which is the why behind the color choices.
I followed the video provided in TLC887 to make a tucked flap card adapting it for my needs. No designer paper was harmed in the making of this card.
I have a Gray Granite card base. I stamped the leaf outline repeatedly on the Highland Heather piece just to give it some texture.
For my flap piece, I stamped several flowers and leaves randomly on it (though you can't see most of that stamping) and then lightly sponged some Blushing Bride ink to tone down the white cs. The circles are Blushing Bride layered with white. My focal flower - with lots of petals - is a double stamp of that flower fussy cut and adhered together to get a more full flower. I added yellow punched circle to the center to complete it. The flower is attached with dimensionals.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!
