Karen has chosen some beautiful, soft colors for this week's color challenge, with a dessert of metallic.
I decided a birthday card was in order and had fun stamping different sized polka dots in the colors randomly around the page. When I was finished with the colored polka dots, I added five gold heat embossed dots - yay, dessert! I then die cut the panel with a rectangle framelit, ran Versamark thinly along each edge to give a thin gold metallic edge.
After trying it on several colors of base, Pool Party was the final choice. I'm trying to keep my cards more flat for easy mailing and this card achieves that but still looks fun and celebratory, I think.
I look forward to seeing your creations with these colors!
Thanks for the challenge and the opportunity to be on the Color Challenge team and thanks for looking!

Looks like/reminds me of champagne bubbles, which of course are always due to some sort of celebration. I love your bubbles in the different colors and the gold embossing adds a nice subtle touch of bling~
