It was an extra busy week which always sours my mojo. The Inspiration Challenge was just right to get things going. This pin inspired simple, clean lines, with yellow, white & green.
My mother in law recently sent me her award winning lemon bars recipe, at my request. I wanted to make a thank you card for her. Since she shares left over yarn from her many crocheting projects, I like to use some on cards for her. One lemon slice was stamped and covered with Wink of Stella; and then die-cut & layered with a green square. I popped it up on a white card base with a strip of gingham DSP. A stamped thank you with a lemony dot to finish it off.
Also submitting for the VSN Summer Play List Mini challenge to use fruit. Thanks for looking!

I love lemons on cards, they are a bright cheery color and make for wonderful cards. I realized during the last VSN I own zero lemon stamps and need to find one to add to my collection. I love the layout you used with your lemon stamp too.

I love all things lemon! This card is so refreshing with your pretty lemon, the yarn is an excellent choice and the wee enamel dot next to your stamping, all perfect details on the wonderful yellow gingham BG. Awesome card!
