Free 4 All - Challenge Playing with Fabric
Teapotters - Youâve been framed
Color Challenge - Balmy Seafoam on Purple Highlands
The image was heat embossed with black detailed powder on watercolor paper and then I watercolored it with the challenge colors. What a gorgeous color combo! For Purple Posey, I only have a marker for ink and had just a little cardstock left, so used it for the card base and colored with the marker but itâs hard to see. I found a ribbon in my stash that matched nicely. Heat embossed the sentiment on Highland Heather cardstock and punched it out.
The Free 4 All Challenge sent me to my fabric tub and I found the piece on top was a fair match to the challenge colors and the flowers were similar to the image. I got the idea to die-cut a frame for the Teapotters challenge. First I glue the fabric on a thin cardstock with Mod Podge and let it dry. With two rectangle dies, that have stitched lines on the inside and outside of the cutting line, I die-cut a frame. I had planned to blend on some color in the background, but I wanted to try the fabric frame, and then I forgot to do the ink part. It is what it is. Applied Wink of Stella sparkle generously to the flowers and hummingbird wings. Sending off to Joann in New York. Thanks for looking!
