Finally got a card done for the Make A Scene Teapot Challenge!
This is my first-ever easel card, believe it or not! I've always wanted to make one, & this seemed like the perfect opportunity to give it a try. I watched the video tutorial, & jumped right in!
The base card is made from SU Crumb Cake CS.
I stamped the old barn image three times, first on a square panel of VV, then twice on some scraps of VV. I colored the main image on the square panel with the colored pencils, then colored the bits I needed from the other two images & fussy-cut the barn from one & just the wagon wheel & the barn door from the other. Popped up the fussy-cut barn image with dimensionals on the main image panel, & then popped up the wheel & door on the barn (it doesn't show up very well in my photo--& the card is already in the mail, so I couldn't re-take it!).
I added a square panel of woodgrain PP to the inside bottom of the card, just to dress it up a bit (& maybe look like an old barn floor?) before I added the sentiment piece that props up the easel. TFL!

Looks like winter is still lurking, but since the snow is gone, spring has to be just around the corner. Beautiful scene...I love old barns and you have done this one real well! I live in the country and see these type barns all the time. Love that this is an easel card too~

Wow, it’s hard to believe this is your first easel as it looks like you’re a pro. I love the dimension on your barn. I have this image, have used it many times and have never made it look this good. I love the wheel and doors in the 3 D. Thanks so much for thinking of me.
