I made this card for today's color challenge, I have not used any stamps on this card. I die cut the flowers from the Altenew layered flower die using Bristol smooth white paper. I then colored every layer accordingly. I did not have a stamp that read this sentiment so I hand lettered it. I apologize as I have no idea how to calligraphy. The words are wonky and not consistent in size or shape.
I wanted to use this stamp to encourage and honor my daughters for theirr effort to raise kindness among teenagers at school. We just moved from Minnestoa to NY and it has been very challenging for my girls. My kids have all along been in small Christian Private schools or in international Pirivate schools abroad. While there is freedom in all these schools but there are boundries as well. Now in Ny they feel it is not the same. They are uncomfortable with the language usage among their peers or the unfriendliness and lack of acceptence of new children. This has been a very hard transition for them. So now both my girls have taken it upon themselves that no matter how anybody acts or behaves they are going to "Do the right thing, because it is right thing to do" which is our daily prayer in our house So for them the right thing is to show kindness and love equally, no matter how any body acts.
My intention to write this is not to brag about my girls, but it is really to share that Kindness does matter. So if you get a chance today "DO THE RIGHT THING. BECAUSE IT IS RIGHT THING TO DO"
Love you all!! ad so sorry for the banter

Kindness is certainly something we all need to remember all the time. As for the calligraphy - WOW - what a great effort and I would not have known that it was hand written at all. Looks great.

Preethi, This is GORGEOUS! You should make no apologies for your wonderful hand lettering. I love it and think it makes it so very special, and I love the different "fonts" you have used. I also love how you've used the dies and colored them yourself. It's a touching card because of honoring and encouraging your daughters. They have a wonderful mom, and it is always best to do the right thing. I am certain that your daughters will make a difference and that God will continue to use them. You are such a joy, and it's wonderful to have you share your cards and your heart with us. And never, ever apologize for your "banter." We love hearing from all our wonderful friends here at Splitcoaststampers, and we affectionately call ourselves "Splitcoasties." You are dearly loved, sweet friend, and you are such a dear mom! May God bless you!! Hugs and love! xoxo

Preethi, the world definitely can use more kindness and applaud you for your inspiration and encouragement with your beautiful cards for your daughters. Transitioning to a new location and school can be overwhelming for kids of any age, but their faith and inner strength (along with your guidance) will allow them to blossom just like your gorgeous flowers!
Wonderfully done and thank you for sharing!
Hugs!

I am so impressed with your gorgeous card and your stunning hand lettering too! Wow! I so agree with you that we need more kindness in our world and I applaud you and your beautiful daughters for being bright lights and paving the way for so many others to follow. I live in MN and I do understand how people act so differently in other parts of our country. Thank you for being YOU! Hugs! ~Karen.

oh goodness, banter away. you are rightfully proud of your girls. that's quite the transition from MN to NY. Another world. there are sayings like 'kill them with kindness,' 'you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar' or something like that. Your girls are doing the right thing, tell them to keep at it, no matter how discouraging. Oh and your card.....your coloring is divine. Move to WI and teach me.

Your inked, die cut flowers are so lovely against the black panel with your hand lettered sentiment, which I think looks absolutely fabulous! Your daughters sound like very loving, grounded people that will do the right thing because you have taught them that kindness does matter. Thanks for sharing!
