No extra cookies for me this week for Kandie's Tickle a Teapotter challenge. I didn't even go plaid, although I had a Scottish grandfather who, according to family history, was proud to wear his kilt when he flew in the Royal Air Corps in WW1.
Instead I took the local Celtic option and went Irish, with not quite forty shades of green and an Irish blessing.
Background is cling-wrap, done with Brushos, spray starch and bronze Brusho Acrylic shimmer.
I stamped the blessing from ODBD's May God Hold You set in gold on vellum and embossed it. I stamped the shamrocks in Staz-On black, and coloured them green on the back with a Sharpie, then added some white gel pen detailing. I also added some score lines with a stylus.
I could have sworn that I still had one more gold shamrock charm like the one I used on a recent WT photo challenge card, but I couldn't find it so had to settle for this four-leaved shamrock and hope it brings luck to whoever receives this card.
I really wish I'd had a Scotty dog stamp to use - I hope somebody does! Thanks for a fun and inspiring challenge, Kandie.
