For the color challenge I had to use garden green as a sub for crushed cucumber and have all other colors.
I stamped the flower image in Versafine ink and stamped a second image and fussy cut a portion of it to use as a mask.
Stamped the honeycomb background twice; once horizontally, once vertically.
I stamped the diagonal bars twice in garden green, on the left and bottom of panel.
I watercolored the flower image, then created a halo effect around of flower in turquoise.
Using a wide flat paintbrush, I dry brushed the turquoise vertically on the entire panel, to create an aged/vintage appearance and then splattered daffodil delight for more vintage effect, then distressed the edges, adding daffodil delight around edges. I was inspired by Sabrina's use of this vintage technique.
Stamped and fussy cut the butterfly, folding up the wings for dimension, then added a chiffon bow, which I rarely use.
For the teapot challenge, sing a song.
I chose a country ballad by Deana Carter called Wildflower.
Inside card: In a field of roses, be a Wildflower!

Really pretty! The texture stamp for the bottom of the panel and the splattering of yellow at the top really give this a beautiful pattern. And the lovely flower to top it all off is the star of the card!

What a stunning wildflower card this is and so perfect for the challenges. I love the bg you created to showcase your wonderful wildflower with. The distressing around the edges draws your eye right to the image panel. What a great song and a gorgeous card to match it. ~Karen.
