My super sweet son has struggled with some school work this week...when I saw the challenge for today I instantly knew what I wanted to make ;-)
This cute little beaver is sure to succeed at the building task before him ;-)
I wanted to make an encouragement card for him :-)
Masking takes center stage on this card! I stamped & masked....A LOT! I was in a hurry so everything is just colored with two alcohol marker colors for each object, except the grass has three colors...no fancy shading...but I challenged myself and I really like the outcome ;-) Originally the sky was lightly shaded and the ground I chose to spot color under the trees and tools, bulldozers and logs...but I didn't like it and decided to darken the sky and completely fill in the grass. A touch of blue on his blueprint and all done ;-)
I double matted the scene panel and adhered to the orange card base
Thank you tons for your sweet words!

This card brought a BIG smile to my face; that eager beaver is the best ever!!!! When I read that you masked (and masked and masked) the center section I about swallowed my tongue! How in the world did you get this card made and done for you son in one day? It would have taken me several sessions to accomplish a lot less...you are one talented stamper and your son was sure to feel the love and encouragement you poured into this card for him. Awesome creation and fun, fun, fun to look at! TFS
