This is for the Featured Stamper Challenge for Boss ~ Susy. I so enjoyed looking around Susy's gallery and remembered quite a few of her beautiful cards. I had a long list going, but finally settled on this wonderful CAS card from years ago for the square die impression.
I decided to use the Flower of the Month stamp set for most of my volunteer/donated birthday cards this year. I'm looking for new ways to use the stamp for the month and keep it relatively easy to mail. I loved how Susy made a debossed impression of a square die and stamped the images and greeting inside the shape. I made the same impression on my white card base using a shim with the die. I used a standard book fold, instead of a top tent fold; and stamped the sentiment outside the square since there are words as part of the stamp (March Jonquil). Other changes are evident. Thank you Susy for sharing your wonderful cards with us and inspiring mine today! TFL

Such a beautiful card for March Diane. I was admiring this very same card of Susy's so I am just delighted to see what your interpretation is. These jonquils looks so happy and the debossed framing draws your eye right to these lovely flowers. Your twine treatment looks amazing! I also love how the font of your birthday sentiment closely matches the font of the flowers. You really made a wonderful card for this challenge Diane. ~Karen.
