I used a side-step base that has been on my desk for a long time. Cut pieces to fit, and sponged sky and grass on the main one, grass on all the others.
Stamped the caravan on kraft with white and embossed. Stamped again so that I could cut the door out and layer it on. I cut out the windows and the little peep-hole in the door, added scraps of DP behind and filled them with Glossy Accents to look like glass. Fussy cut the camper and added it to the scene.
Liquid Pearls for flowers on the grass, and to look a bit like rosebay willowherb on the middle section. I made a piece of cling-wrap background and die-cut trees for the background. And lastly I added Snoopy and Woodstock, just back from a hike. I think he's just about the right size to fit in the camper! And since an experience a few years back, I will never go camping again without a backpack so I was glad to see that Snoopy remembered his. Picture someone without a head for heights scrambling along narrow ridges at an altitude of about 4500 feet, trying to hold my camera and the bag with water and sunscreen in one hand and hold onto the rocks with the other. Never again...

I see that Snoopy and Woodstock are out of doors, but not exactly "roughing it". My feelings too! What a fun scene with all those beautiful trees, and their home-away-from-home snug and waiting for them. Nicely done, mf!

You are right, camping/hiking without a backpack is quite the risk taking adventure!! One does have to have a camera though!! The step card is one that I want to try and Snoopy just might get me in gear!
Love all of the little details that went into the making of this. from the flowers in the meadow to the glossy accents on the peep window!

I've been oohing and aahing over this spectacular feat of creativity since you posted it. If I attempted this, I would definitely be out of breath atop Paper Craft mountain!

Sabrina, not sure how or why I missed the cutie beauty, it’s so adorable! Your layered trees have to much dimension with the shapes and coloring. I Love your sweet scene!!
