For this week's TLC, which you will find HERE. The challenge post also has individual photos of the front and inside of the card.
For the front of this card I scraped some chalk pastels onto a piece of white card, rubbed them in and then used a spray fixative. I added the sentiment, the border die-cut (pearlescent white) and some splatters of Twinkling H2Os in gold. Layered it onto a matt gold layer and a white base.
For the inside, I used the Partial Die-cutting technique to create an aperture, then embossed the back part of the insert with a feather ef.
Stamped that lovely Serendipity sentiment on the base, and die-cut an angel from a scrap. I think it was from the recent Ink Spritzer TLC hosted by Judy.
For the inside scene, I die-cut the Nativity border from black card, and used DOX inks to sponge a background for it. I think I used Wild Honey, Broken China and Wilted Violet.
To avoid covering all the Nativity scene, I added my pop-up angel over to the side, and I added an extra pop-up strut to her wings to stop her keeling over because of her height ;-).
This will be my MIL's Christmas card this year.
