This is my sample for Cathy's WTUI challenge this week, which you will find HERE.
I used the same stamps/sets on both the inside and the front. The map on the front was simply stamped on white card, and layered onto kraft.
For the inside, I stamped it on mixed media paper using Versafine black, coloured it with Inktense pencils, and then added a layer of gesso to tone it down. I distressed the edges with walnut stain and vintage photo.
The sentiments, bookworm, globe and paper plane are all from SNSS's Bookmarks Bits and Pieces. I made a chalkboard-style panel for the front, stamping and embossing in white on black card, and adding some white smudges. Inside I stamped directly onto my map after the gesso had thoroughly dried. The front seemed to be missing something, it looked better after I had added a couple of buttons.

What amazing cards! Love that Dr. Seuss phrase. What a cool use of the map paper.

The way you used elements from the same sets on the front and inside really ties this together and makes everything look unified. I also like how you frequently incorporate maps into your cards, Sabrina. The one on the inside is colored beautifully -- I would have guessed you'd taken a printed map and cut it up.

Wonderful card, Sabrina! That bookworm stamp is just so perfect for the chalkboard technique. I like how you used the map on the front and the inside. Sweetly inspiring!
