For my watercolour medium I used a couple of blue and aqua Dylusions Ink Sprays. I followed all of Loll's instructions, except for the bit where you sprinkle the tissue with embossing powder.......I sprinkled on superfine glitter.
I found out the hard way that I had used glitter, did I mention it was superfine.....you should have seen the shocked look on my face when I blasted the tissue paper with my heat gun.
Needless to say, everything I touch is sparkalarkling and probably will be for a long time. I have a standing craft desk so the glitter had further to fall and further to spread out. I will never make this mistake again!!!
Thank you for looking and I hope you have a sparkly week - I sure will LOL.

Sparkalarkling indeed. I don't think I will be game enough to try this technique - after all the fun and games you had - I am still giggling. I can just imaging you sitting there eyes wide open with all the sparkle falling softly to ground around you, over you and over everything else in the room. Welcome to Susie's sparkling craft room. Worth the angst as you have created a very pretty card.

Ha, ha, ha I can just see the cloud of glitter. Never the less the end result for your card is beautiful Susie, love your colours and the way the background suggests trees, perfect.

The problem I've had with sparkalarking is once those little buggers are out of the jar they seem to have sex and multiply faster than I can sweep or dust and months later I'll show up "glittered" at work or church and wonder where it came from since I hadn't opened any that week . . . . sparkling aside your card is beautiful with the ethereal look of golden hued trees beind that lovely gate ( the entrance to the palace grounds?)

Oh, I have sprinkled the wrong thing more than once but never glitter, I am relieved to say. I'm sure the heatgun ensured great distribution of it round the room. But what a beautiful background, and the golden gate is just stunning. This reminds me of one of your cards in my favourites, I must see if I can find it, and compare them.

This is gorgeous, Susie! Sorry about the glitter but we all have glitter stories, I am sure! Had to chuckle....I remember going to the doctor, and as I was getting in the car my DH told me my face was full of glitter. Too late to wash it off. However, your results are spectacular!
