It's not such a "lovely day" here in South Florida...but it will be again! We are all shuttered up and experiencing some strong wind from Hurricane Irma (along with the first strong rain bands), but now it's moving towards the west coast.
So now that we are all "hunkered down," I found time to stamp. I love this week's Inspiration Challenge and found a few DesignSeeds that inspired me. Here's the first one...still finishing the second one. I really enjoyed using the Chameleon Pens with the Color Tops and found them easy to use.
This one worked perfectly for my Black-Eyed Susan - both image and sentiment are digis, and it was fairly easy and quick to color. I ended up using a ruler and Sharpie fine-point pen to make a "frame" and colored that in as well. It's an easy one, and I'll definitely print and color more.
Please pray for my sister, two nieces, and their families in Sarasota. I've not heard from them, and I pray that they will be fine. My DS's house is low-lying and is susceptible to flooding. :(
Thanks for taking a closer look, and let's all continue to pray for all of Florida and continue to pray for Houston and all those affected by the fires. Remember that Hurricane Jose is also coming down the "alley" in less than a week. Hugs!

You are on a roll Cheryl with your beautiful cards. Love to see you uploading and sharing your work. I have been thinking of you all day ... and will continue until this awful threat moves away. You are in my thoughts my dear friend. hugs
Wow, this is a beauty!!! Your coloring is exquisite. I am taking extra time to look at your shading! I love the framing. You have a steady hand, my friend. My framing never looks so good. My hands shake too much I guess! So thankful that your sister has now moved to higher ground!

Wonderfully coloured and laid out - the border really adds a lot to the card! My thoughts are with everyone in the path of the hurricanes and those living in the wildfire areas of the USA and Canada.

G-orgeous! I have paid close attention to your leaves as this is an area where I need a lot of practice! Beautiful natural coloring! Lovely fall floral card.
We pray you and Walt will weather this storm safely with God's strength and protective hand.
