I used one of the stamps out of this set last week. When I saw the challenge I thought of this set, this is my favorite out of my collection of older stamps! It's a 2002 set. I did an inventory of my stamps a few weeks ago and couldn't find it. I looked everywhere, my daughter had borrowed it.
The paper Outlaw I have been hoarding and also Mellow Moss. I added a star brad and a Concho. I bought them to go on Western cards until I realized you had to pay extra postage.
Lisa mentioned about converting wood stamps. I decided to leave my stamps on the blocks. What I do is pull the rubber off the wood, cut a piece of transparency paper and put between the rubber and wood. That way I can use my stamp with my Misti. Just a suggestion. TFL

What a great card! Love the embellishment and I think I still have some of that striped paper somewhere in my stash.

I looked at this earlier and thought Wow! What a fabulous image, one that I am not familiar with. The distressing is perfect with it. I'm still trying to figure out your tip for the woodmount stamps, my brain is not firing on all cylinders just now. I certainly like to keep my woodmount ones as they are.

I love the distressed edges on your papers, they are perfect for this classic image. The conch is so pretty, and perfect. Beautiful stamp, beautiful card!

Amazing card! That image is fabulous and takes me, mentally, to my home town, lovely memories. Perfect paper, the distressing is the ideal finishing touch for this card, love the brad and concho as well.
