CAS445 calls us to go western. The world famous Pendleton Round-Up is special to me so I couldn't pass this challenge up! Though it is special, I really didn't have any stamps that would represent it until recently when I picked up this rodeo silhouette stamp designed by Dina.
I masked the oval and stamped Hardwood over the rest of the base. Then I used the negative to sponge five colors of distress oxide inks for my sunset sky. I stamped the rodeo silhouette and then used my stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp it a couple more times. I looked online to copy the lettering style of let'er buck and hand wrote the sentiment. Yes, it is about time to Let'er buck!
Thanks for looking!

Oh I love that movie, Hidalgo. Let r buck he would say toward the end of the race and the horse went from fast to super speed every time.
What a cute card!

Can not believe this is a one layer card - it is not something that is easily done, and you did it masterfully! Love the look of the hardwood background paired with the bucking bronco image, and your multicolored sponged oval gives this card punch and pizzazz. Very cool card and perfect for the "Go West" challenge- nicely done!
