Happy birthday Tricia and thank you for a sweet challenge.
I am so happy how this turned out. I attempt the CAS challenges most weeks but I rarely upload because I don't seem to know when to stop.
This sweet little chumbulumba is a digi image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I bought several ballerina images recently and I'm having fun colouring them with various mediums and printing them on different papers and cardstock.
This is just photocopy paper, coloured with Prismacolour Pencils, blended with Zest-It and then dark pink highlights were added using a Copic marker. After she was fussy cut, I adhered her to a linen finish card base using a glue stick, making sure that the entire image had glue on it (this prevents air bubbles).
The most difficult thing about this card was finding some Ranger Liquid Pearls that didn't hemorrhage everywhere (gosh, thank goodness for spell checker, I would never have got that word right). I eventually found some that worked YAY. Even by CAS standards this was a little too CAS, so I channeled Kia, my CAS super hero, and used a stencil and the dregs of ink from a pink stained dauber to add some extra ompf, albiet subtle LOL.
I have four little grand-nieces that seem to live in tutu's, so I intend on duplicating this card in each of their favourite colours. Thanks so much for looking.

Awwww Susie, I missed this amazing card when it came through the gallery, but I am so thrilled I am seeing it now. This little ballerina is so stinkin cute! I adore the way you have colored her because it so brings her to life, and the little "pearl" headband is beyond adorable! ~Karen.
