I just can't do bows. But I tried! Jeanne asked for bows for today's Free for All Challenge. And Ky asked for shadows in today Mixed Media Challenge. Even though I'm lousy at tying bows, I am glad that I added this bow. It is totally something I would never think to do and I think it does add to the card. I also added extra shadows that I wouldn't normally have added. I put extra shadow underneath the luggage and the snail and also tried to exaggerate the shading while I was coloring my images.
I'm glad for two simple challenges today, because I had to combine them with a challenge of my own which was a friend that asked for a belated birthday card for her aunt who loves to travel. My mind went first to this postcard DP that I've had forever (so this must be what I was saving it for. LOL). Then I thought I wanted to do a turtle or a snail with this pile of luggage from Tiddly Inks. So, I visited the Tiddly Inks website and searched "turtle" and came up empty. But when I searched "snail" I came up with this fun set of snails. I put the one with the postage stamp on the inside of the card. I think she's going to be really happy with this card. I know I am.

Super shadowing all the way around, Jennifer. Cute images and great paper (I have that paper in my stash too - or pieces of it anyway). So fun when you can accomplish many challenges at one time and make someone very happy. Cute!!!
