This is one of the cards that I intended to make for Dare to Get Dirty before I ran out of time. Happily, it fits this week's Free for All challenge to "See the Light" and yesterday's inspiration challenge for all things Houzz. I was inspired by this pendant light.
This is only my second shaker card ever, and reinforced my allergic reaction to all things "technique", lol. It didn't help that I needed THREE of those to pull this off, or that I selected such a finicky image to have to cut for the "windows"... Ah well, one more idea out in the world instead of itching inside of Odd Brain, right?

Oh my goodness this is amazing! I love how you did the shaker on the lights. I can see why this is your favorite, this is just fantastic. Thank you for sharing your own personal favorite for 2017, I am glad I got to see this card.

Sue, I LOVE this!
I bought this Unity kit a while ago, but it hasn't been inked up yet. Thanks for the inspiration!

I missed this when you first posted it-came to it bc of the favorite card thread...and now it is going my favorites file.
two reactions:
One-I started laughing because you remind me of me-I try something new and I cant just do it simply. I have to do some complicated version of it so I struggle 100x more than I should.
Two-WOW! Are you kidding?? You did all that fussy cutting of the spaces in the bulb frames??? and the shaker borders are what worried you??? (((hugs))))
BTW-Darice has a thin DS foam tape that bends really well for shakers. You can find it cheaper for sure but so much easier than trying to cut wider thinner

Oh my goodness, you really put some thought into this card. What grand shakers and love, love the sentiment to go with them.
