I just had to try another of the Faux Tutorials for Sabrina's Ways to Use It challenge. This time I did the Faux Pressed Flowers - done by my good friend Anne Harada - which I had never tried for some reason??!!??!
I stamped the stems on my white card panel, adhered the paper flowers with a glue stick, stamped the sentiment and then embossed it with my favorite folder - Square Lattice from SU!
LOVE how this came out! I think the thinner the flower, the better it gets pressed and these worked perfectly. I added 3 rhinestones and framed the panel in Hawaiian shores and adhered it to a Green Parakeet card base.

What a wonderful card, Julia. That is the technique I want to try too. I just back from helping a friend today, so it's off to the stamp room. Love the results you got. Hope mine turn out as well.

I had forgotten Anne Harada was responsible for this tech. Fab one isn't it. I love your three little stems, and the bg embossing is terrific. Another beauty!!

Oh wow, Julia - this turned out beautifully! Yes, I think I used to use some old Prima flowers. Your stem and leaves really make this extra gorgeous, and you also make me want to try this again soon!!
