For Kittie's fun Dare to Get Dirty Challenge. It took me forever to make this card. I put a lot of love into it. I started by printed out the pelican and the sentiment. Then I printed again on copy paper to make a mask. Also made a mask of the water and sand dunes. After I finished sponging, I colored the pelican and finished with some gel pen touches and Wink of Stella for the water. Then I took a black marker and edged the entire panel. I'm really happy with the way this card came out. It's going out as a note of encouragement to my son's Karate Sensei's wife who is fighting lymphoma.
