My card for this weeks F4A387 - Winter in July challenge. Thank you Robin for hosting. I love creating Christmas or winter styled cards so this challenge was perfect!
My card was created with Military families in mind. And the focal point of the card is two-fold. The door and the sentiment, "Welcome Home". For the member and his/her family nothing says "home" like the sight of open arms. To many Christmas holidays are spent away from those they love. Bound of love and duty for country and home, they serve faithfully -- Welcome home, we've missed you!

This is so beautiful! Gorgeous red door! What a lovely cause! I read your comment to Robin in the F4A thread and I totally agree with you about the heat. I love a good Arizona heat but a southern heat is totally different!! Take care of yourself!!

Susie, this is such a gorgeous card and with so much meaning. Thank you for the reminder of how many of our service men and women are away from home, not only at Christmas but throughout the year. Your coloring is wonderful.
